I am blessed by the beauty that surrounds me. I ponder the gift of life as I turn to wonder. The snow falling softly. Curiosity turned into an ecosystem, crafted with love and care. Life before me that I rarely see. Life supporting life within the jar, carefully capped. Is it enough to sustain the snails and the plants it holds?

| Sweater Knit with Love |
We hold life in our hands, too. Sometimes a failure turns into a blessing. The effort of making something with our hands. New and old all at once. A sweater knit with love, a silent prayer honoring the young life that will fill it, if only for a brief moment.
Breathing in and out. The gifts of this year. A new life. Grateful for our family and friends. Grateful to travel and play. Grateful to listen and hope for magic and newness that we don't know yet. May we wander in the grace of the life that surrounds us, is us - may we shine light for each other when darkness appears. May we see the miracles, each day, in 2018.
